Thermal Polimetro
The thermal properties are among the basic information contained in the identity card of plastic materials. Our thermal testers allow you to characterize polymer behavior at high temperatures, measuring the heat deflection temperature (HDT) and the Vicat softening temperature (Vicat) according to international standards. Instron's line of CEAST Thermal Systems range from a very simple and compact traditional oil machine up to a high technology innovative system that is oil free and can test materials at temperatures up to 500°C.
